Why would anybody do Multi Level Marketing?

Multi Level Marketing, also known as "MLM", is an industry with, for most people, a bad reputation. It is almost something to be ashamed of to tell aloud that you are into MLM. Still the industry attracts thousands and thousands of people every year. Why?

The answer is that most people carry a dream and they really want to achieve it. Very often it has to do with money. That with that extra paycheck you could have or do what you always dreamed of. To work less, to go on that vacation, to get more time or to live a life in more luxury.

So they get into MLM to get that extra paycheck. Some people get successful, but most don't.

Those who get successful most often like to sell. They love to attend meetings, convince people to buy the latest offer or montly special and to be hosts for business seminars. But most people don't like to do this... AT ALL.

I was one of those people. I was quite successful. But I hated it.

I felt that I had to be a salesperson 24/7 and never had the time to be ME.

My friends started to treat me like plague, my family told me to shut up about all fantastic expensive products and my calender was overbooked with all the meetings I had to attend and all the business presentations I had to do.

I lost my self and some where in all that I also lost my dream.I thought that it must be something wrong with what I do. Or something wrong with the industry. Because it did not seem to matter what company I joined it always got the same results. Some small money but no real life. So I started to look for answers. I wanted to know why it did not work for me. This blog is going to be about the things I learned and what to do to be truly successful.

Because MLM is NOT a numbers game and it is not about products or how many books you have read. MLM is a great industry (and yes you can get very rich) if you understand that MLM is about people helping people.
